It won't have it. In a discussion with a couple of the owners of the midenginecorvetteforum Tadge said no start/stop

Why would it? It is not a Hybrid with an electric engine...

Plenty of non-hybrid cars have it. Don’t know about the C8 though. If it does have auto stop/start, I bet you can use the “my mode” to automatically disable it every time you start the car.
It it does have displacement on demand judging from the firing order specifications.

No, it doesn't have it thank goodness. Tadge looks out for us and agrees with us, this is a sports car meant for driving, and not for gas milage and going to get your groceries, but you can do that too which is what I love about corvette.

Meh, just another feature people love to hate on for no real reason. Modern stop start is seamless, many I drive you don't even notice it off if you have the radio and climate on.
Hybrids don't actually have start stop. The power strategy is completely different when a hybrid is stopped vs a regular ICE, when the hybrid is "stopped" there is still an engine connected to the drivetrain with immediate torque available.

I have auto start/stop in my Cadillac XT5. It is almost seamless (don't notice it a lot of the time) and I have gotten used to it although I don't like the fact that it can't be shut off. Between that feature and cylinder activation I am getting 28 mpg average with a lot of city driving--hard to beat that on a heavy SUV with a six cylinder engine. The auto start/stop feature has been rapidly adopted by vehicle manufacturers for good reasons. Having said that, I think the feature would be ridiculous in a Corvette.

I rented a F150 two weeks ago while on a trip. What an annoying feature.
