Those black vents under the tail lights and that goofy-*** spoiler are my biggest issues. Perhaps if those vents were body colored, they may not look as bad.
Completely agree with BadAV, big improvement over the C7, if you put whiskers on the bottom of black area of the C7 it would look like a street sweeper!
The back is definitely growing on me. I cannot imagine how tough it is for the designers to work with the constraints they were given. It needs to fit an engine and oh btw jam a bunch of storage in there and make it look like the rest of the family. Talk about pressure. Would be cool if you could do like in the old days with a radio delete option. I would love a back storage delete option which might make the back look closer to the concept sketches. More aggressive and lower. I am really liking what they did but i can’t shake the feeling that something feels a little off to me. Maybe it is just that the rear looks oversized compared to the front like the old Countachs looked. If the front was a little wider to make it more of an hourglass shape from the top down it might feel more balanced. Can’t wait for the Z06 version to see what they do. No doubt that will cause me to trade
In that color & at that angle it doesn't look too bad. But straight on it's definitely ugly, busy, cheap & everything else that has been posted above. I have no issue with the taillights. It's definitely my least favorite aspect of the car, as it is on the C7.
But I think it's already starting to grow on me a bit, though it will never be my favorite. By the time the Z06 arrives I'll probably find it acceptable just like I find it tolerable on my Z06. But I really hope they make some improvements to it on the higher hp versions.
