The car looks great and it is exciting times for Corvette enthusiasts but my plans have not changed. Going to keep enjoying my C7 for a couple more seasons, take a look at the hard top convertible and the Z model will likely be getting close.
Even if I wanted the base with a manually removable top the earliest I could be realistically driving one is mid to late next summer and that might be overly optimistic based on the initial demand this car is likely to see. Really in no hurry but yes, I will eventually have one.

Actively saving. Will be a yes in 5 years or less.

YES. Zero question now.
I was hedging my bets with a possible C7 GS or C7 Z06 order. But no remaining questions now. I'm quite confident that the C8 will eclipse every single Corvette sales and performance record. I believe it will not only be the fastest Vette but the easiest and safest track performing Corvette ever as well.

Yes, but not the first years run. Let's give them a year to work out the gremlins that are sure to show up, especially going from front engine to mid engine. I think it's inherent the car will be a work in progress through the first year.

Yes. If they come out with a manual later, I will trade in the C8 DCT for the manual. See GM, you could get two sales out of me.
