Anyone see the process of the door being opened?
I'm just a little curious as to where the door handle really is.
The obvious place is under the little winglet on the door that makes the side scoop (that ended up being pretty much as it looked in the camo cars, just with a black trim piece on the end of it.)
So did anyone see the door being opened? And how did the end of the door with that winglet look in real life when not closed? Does it stick out a lot or is it pretty mildly protruding as I imagine it is?
Great car though. I Didn't make it to 11 pm on the east coast, woke up at 2:30 am though to see the pics and specs. Amazing.
LOVE the interior I think. I'd have to sit in it, but it seems like as long as your co-pilot doesn't have to do a lot of nav-entering or radio station changing, it should be fine. Looks very comfy too, like the armrests are large enough to really support the arms and make it a comfortable ride.
Can't wait to sit in one.
I'm blabbering, so back to the doors, any pics of that?
Thanks,
TomZ

Le Mans Master
it's on the jay leno review
the door looks MEGA thick and has a big piece of the side scoop sticking out of it. wow, looks sharp (as in physically sharp/edgy), and expensive to bang against a wall. Not that that'll ever happen

Watched Jay Leno look it over today... it's the same touch pad as the C6/7 but up under the cove on the door. You grab it and touch the pad at the same time... very well executed.

Ahhh, thanks for the insight, and for the pic from the Leno piece. That shows nicely the profile of the door when opened. I was wondering how that looked.
It's kind of neat that you can't even really see the door handle/pad at all from the outside, stealthy.
That looks like a lot of real estate between the end of the door and the start of the interior door panel though. Maybe just the angle of the shot?
Thanks again guys,
TomZ
