Didn't you get the memo that it's not possible to like two things at once anymore? If you like the C8 it means you have to **** all over the C7 and call it garbage because that's what Corvette Forum has become. I thought it was bad around here when we went from C6 to C7, but it's an absolute sewer at this point.
Would if I still owned, but don’t. Currently have a 991.2 C2S. My decision is between a new 992 or C8. The C8 will need to impress at a high level in person. But like what I see for the most part. Don’t get me wrong, I loved my C7 and the ZR1 is an amazing car!
There is a very thin margin of rotation for the pics of the C8 that can go from kinda looking butt ugly to orgasmic. They PERFECTLY caught the right ange of that white C8. Hands down I'd take that C8 over the ZR1. Then invest the other $70K.
I would take the C7 ZR1 all day, slam it, toss the god awful wheels for something with a dish. Not a fair fight the base for base like the photo above is more like it.
I do see the squirrel cheeks now though dammit. I hope that does not stick. I raise you the C7 base model - retainer mouth. Good luck unseeing that
For someone who has been sold on white for a long time, I think I have to have one. Loved my C6, but the C7 was better and looks to me like GM has sold me on the C8. Life keeps getting better.
C8 looks way better. Zr1 looks way too busy and boy racer for my taste.
I don’t know about boy racer. To me the C8 has a similar look as the C7 ZR1 but doesn’t look as overly heavy, bulky even, especially moving toward the front. The C8 is sleek.
