Default Redline = 4500 RPM??

Look at the interior pic. 7k tach with redline at 4500 RPM. Is this thing a diesel or something?

Typical for modern cars to have tach red line's raise with oil temperature and other parameters the ECU deems appropriate for full performance. Get acquainted to the idea there is no harmony to the Universe. I love it. I love it against my better judgement.

No. It's just cold. Doesn't your tach do the same thing?

Cold start. Goes up as the oil heats. My M4 did the same thing
