Just lit up a Montecristo Platinum belicoso and poured 4 fingers of Macallan cask strength single malt. Only 2 hours to go.

I remember seeing photos and video of the C7 online and hated it, until I saw it in person at Carlisle that summer. Big difference in person, as I fell in love with the C7 then. The C8 will probably be even better in person, and I can't wait to buy one for my upcoming 60th birthday.

Happy 60th to me....

Steve

I don't usually drink during the week, but I just poured out some Jonnie Walker Double Black.

I'm all out of Macallan 12

Okay, I wasn't going to, as I usually save it for the weekend, but now I'm in for the show.

I'll go with the Basil Hayden. Neat, of course.

Woah. Some action on the media link screen. I pulled a cork on some Veuve Clicquot Brut. Will wait for when I own one for the Dom.

I washed the wife's ATS-V but that didn't kill enough time.

I guess I can join the crowd with a macanudo and Blanton's!

Blanton's!!! Had a bottle last year. I found it spicy but I don't think it had a high rye content. Anyway, yeah it was good!

That's because Blanton's is more of a wheater in the mash bill.

All of the Buffalo Trace products are wheaters, including the Wellers and the Pappy's.

I'm more of a rye guy myself.
