Guys... just realized the car has a full roll-bar and not just a harness bar... that's rollbar padding on a diagonal bar between the harness bar and main hoop.

We've already seen the interior so why cover that up? Also, why would it be lifted up like that when the shots we've seen of the console are flat? Hmmmm.....

It's lifted up to get your hand under there and work the control which looks like the control in my wife's Mercedes.

That doesn't necessarily make sense because lots of **** is covered here that the driver might need access to. Secondly, we have already seen the pics of it so why cover it at all?

B) because camo policy dictates that area is covered when the vehicle is in public.
Console and dash covers are a royal PITA, but so is getting yelled at if you're the guy that gets photoed breaking it. Yes, they must stay on when driving the car down the road.

I love all this back and forth, this is that, and those that say all are wrong, this should be that way, this should be this way............GM is pulling the strings here and jerking some chains, and having a blast, leaking this here and there. They're all kicking back having fun reading all the posts and articles from the forums and rags. They know what they're doing.

And if you follow the window pillar up, there is a split in the molding. Don't have that split in a hardtop.

There is no true hard top... the coupe is still a targa. Would need to see the back glass on this mule to see which it is. The coupe has a black hard panel and the vert has a canvas piece covering the area.

After viewing the video a few times, I am thinking this video is a staged video that was "proofed" and "edited" before it could be released.
How is it that with the windows down, these putzes with cameras only got quick peeks inside the vehicle and seemed to spend more time on the exterior than the details of the interior?
I mean, not even a video clip how they opened the doors?
For anyone that up and personal with the C8, I'd be panning the hell out of everything, to include the A-Pillars, B-Pillars, roof, center console, engine (if visible) etc.
Seems too....."sterilized" as a video that had so much potential.
Who knows. maybe I am wrong too. Hahahaha

A) because camo policy doesn't revolve around supposedly leaked pics on the internet, and
B) because camo policy dictates that area is covered when the vehicle is in public.

Meh, nevermind. I see the rooflines clearer in the follow-up link below, POST #330.

It may have been an actual interior picture. I have no clue. What I do know, as someone who drives camo vehicles, is I don't get to make my own determination that since there are pictures of something online, that I don't have to cover it anymore. If the OEM tells me to keep the interior covered, I keep it covered.
