C8 show schedule after the reveal?
#2
We know it will be at the 25th anniversary bash in August and 99% likely at Carlisle. Then GM has a "traveling C8 tour" as I call it where your dealer can sign up for $16K or thereabouts and GM will bring the car and a team of experts. My local dealer is doing that. Other than that, I don't know.

A dealer in Pottsville, Pa posted on CF that he has requested the $16k package. I live ~100 miles away and plan to take a day trip there from just West of Philly once scheduled.

Hopefully at Lime Rock, Connecticut for the Northeast Grand Prix where Corvette Racing will be competing. It's literally the weekend after the C8 release.

I suspect it may well make an appearance at VIR for the IMSA race in late August and certainly would be at Road Atlanta in October for the Petite LeMans IMSA race..

I understand all the exuberance, but urge caution that no one makes a specific C8 road trip plan based on the above or the following posts, unless the C8’s location at that event has been GM announced.
There have historically been only 4 Corvette show cars. Hopefully there might be more than that for the C8 — but that is yet unknown. Dealers are paying a ton of money for their one or two day C8 visits to their showroom. None of those dealer C8 arrival dates have yet been announced by GM and those dates must be interwoven with all other C8 appearances this year.
With a very limited number of C8’s to be shown, dealer’s purchasing/getting C8 appearances at their places, there will not be nearly enough C8’s to go around for those visits, the ones listed above, and tens more wished for in this and future threads.
Source: That there will not be enough C8’s to go nearly to as many places as folks had already requested six weeks ago, was in my 1-to-1 Bash conversation with Tadge when he told me that they already had received way more C8 appearance requests than they could possibly grant this year.

I would suspect if the event has a GM Corporate marketing tent over the next few months, there will be a C8.
I fully expect to see one under the tent at Dream Cruise too, and they'd be silly if there weren't a few uncamo'd m plates running around there too.

Just give it it Car & Driver to do a full write up...I dont need to see it in person. Take it to the track and give us some numbers/pics. GM can keep its dog and pony show. If I'm shelling out cash for this American icon I want to know up front what it will do compared too the European mid engines! Lets hope all the 911 turbos GM bought went to good use. Better be more like the GT2

No I wasn't really specific! let's say the Zoro if that's their ZR1. Z06 should be close to the GT3...Stingray I'm fine with 911S/turbo numbers! Resale will dedicate this cars real worth...I can get 300/500k for a GT2 used...really its overrated and over priced but im.a nobody so whom am I to say!
