It sure looks like one hideous looking car. Yikes but good luck to all the buyers of this mutant car.
GM really does want to end the Corvette production soon as Mary Barra wants.

Yarbie has no life and spends his days posting on a forum for a car he can't stand.

The brakes don't lead me to believe Z06 or ZR1.

Here are what I noticed: different mirrors, bigger side skirts on the new mule. Plus the angle of the rear quarter looks to flared out more so it looks wider to me.

Maybe justs my 16 hrs work day is getting to me

All those things are the same. The difference is in the lighting angles and to a lesser extent, minor changes to the camo.

Certainly more of a rake to the windshield and not sure if anyone picks it up but the height seems lower.

Same car Just original was taken with low MM lens to distort it from it's true shape.

Here is same photo with digital camera lens correction. The photo taken with a higher MM lens as in the new photo shows more of it's actual shape in real life.

We have the benefit of two professionals (FVS and Skank) who independently took the only ME measurement we factual know (tire diameter), and scaled it proportionately to determine that the height of the C8 was either the same as the C7’s or within a max of a 1” difference. They also measured the wheelbase and again determined that it was either identical to the C7’s 106.7” or again within an inch of it. They both did their work independently and arrived at the same conclusions.

The only measurement that is believed to be a fair amount different, is that the width is believed to be maybe two or three inches wider — but that measurement is not from proportionately measuring the car (for we have nothing to scale it against), but based on the width of most of the ME’s.

This car seems to look better even though it's still hiding so much.

And the mirrors look to be different. How cool would it be if the Z06/ZR1 variants had different side mirrors! It's that kind of going the extra touch that makes cars more special.

Use a rear shot and scale it against the license plate. Should be fairly simple since the plate is 12”.

Why is GM messing with us with these stupid camo and fake stuff? It's a big turn off. It kills our liking for this car.

Fellas, it's the same car just less camo and production lights.

Jalopnik normally has an inside line with stuff out of Detroit (they were the first to reveal the C7.......a full year before ANYONE else) - I think they just threw us a crumb here.

Is it just me or does it look like a panel on the door is...loose? More false panels?

I think it's doing a good job of hiding things. But when the car comes out there will be those who say, "I said it first!"
