What's your ME going to look like?
For the sake of this discussion, lets assume that you can order a C8 with the same colors/trims that are currently available for the C7s.
What's yours going to look like? I plan to order one so I can get exactly what I want. Here's a list of my major options:
Torch Red
Kalahari interior
Manual (if offered)
LT2
Polished Chrome Rims
Sport Seats (not planning to race, but I'm a minimalist when it comes to this)
Clear top option

WOW!!! I intend to order Torch Red also but I would prefer a softer beige interior. Lacking that, it will be the top of the line RED interior.
Mine will be an automatic and it will have BLACK wheels (or maybe machine faced wheels).
If they have any engine/performance factoryoptions at the time of the introduction I will go with that as well as factory aero body options.
Can't wait to put it on paper at the Chevy store......

Well, if GM doesn't get with the times on wheel finishes, I'll probably end up putting custom tinted HREs on it.
Damn GM - you're only a decade or so behind on wheel finishes, get with it, particularly for this model. There is a great big world beyond painted silver, painted black, chrome and machined face. The ME deserves forged wheels, with some available tints between silver and black.
Other than that, for exterior color will do either silver or red. I like how silver shows the lines of a car, and have had two silver vettes. But have always said I should some day own a red one, and never have (two silvers, cyber grey and NRB).

I’m hoping GM will bring back Black Rose for 2020 (otherwise black) and offer a “performance/wide body” version in the first year. If so:
3LZ
Manual if offered,or DCT.
Kalahari int or other Saddle tan on Competition Seats. (Love them on my C7)
I also agree with the “On Point” post. If no other than Black, chromed, or machine faced wheels are offered, I will order standard and go to the aftermarket for forged tinted wheels.
Lastly, if “active aero” is offered as an option, I’m in with that too.

White with ..KALAHARI maybe I would like another Cashmere, type color ..but WHITE is the start I just hope the spoiler will be the same color as the car.. I can certainly tell you what color NOT for me...Black and lots of the others...Here's one for you I DON'T KNOW WHAT COLOR I WOULD WANT BUT I WISH THEY OFFERED MORE choices inside and out

I truly do not know even if I will (contrary to my last many generations), get a first year one, or as I always do, wait for the second year.
Do not know even know what colors I will get, e.g., what the 2 new 2020 colors will be, or whether as I just confirmed with Kai at the BASH that since the new paint shop has the capability, whether we will see the increase to 12 colors for the new ME (of course he properly would not say “yes or no” as to timing). But if so, there could be four new 2020 colors for the ME.
The only things I do know for sure is, when I get one, if offered, mine will have the best interior, the biggest motor for that year, a DCT over a A10, active aero, the widest body, and the front axle lift system.

Orange (if available) or Red exterior with no stripes
kalahari interior
gunmetal wheels or god forbid chrome wheels
if there is no active aero, then the smallest rear wing
HUD
Yes to an automatic transmission
Everything else depends on how GM bundles the packages but it will be the minimum in accessories.

I have actually been thinking about this quite a bit. I am actually hoping GM will offer some exotic colors in their line up. I would like a Miami blue exterior, black wheels, and yellow calipers. If this is not offered it will be Torch Red, black wheels, and red calipers. LT1 manual...
