Surprised to see an E Ray go for only $140K - 3LZ, HTC, upgraded wheels..... Understand no warranty but seems too low, about MSRP

Seems too high to me...Wait several months and you'll be able to get one at MSRP WITH a warranty.

Exactly.
We are nearing the 5th model year of the C8 run and reality has set in.

Not if they don't get production above 3 cars a day. I thought I'd for sure have mine by this summer, but now I'm going to be just hoping for next summer.

Only if you are a list... only 225 built so far, many of us have orders and its 4-5 months after you get an allocation to get one delivered right now. At least from MM.

I was going to bid on it but saw no warranty. No way I’d own one with all that tech on it and no warranty being so new.

Appears to be a rapidly changing new Corvette market we have now. Discounts on SRs along with availability of Z06s were for the most part out of the question 6-9 months ago but quite commonplace now. It would be very difficult to make any accurate predictions as there are in reality far fewer willing and most of all able buyers for these cars than many zealots or current owners seem to believe.

Not sure I understand ‘no warranty’. Is the mfgr warranty void if you sell before expiration?

Same as Z06. Sell before 6 months of ownership and the warranty is null and void.

I never signed an agreement with any language like that in it.

I'm also not sure it matters, but I am curious. I'm not interested in selling my ERay, but does anyone know? Could/would they cancel the warranty on my car if they can't prove I was aware of a penalty for selling it?

So far it seems it doesn't matter with Z06.

Warranties are still getting voided.

I believe it's actually in the owners manual? I've seen posts where the Z06 owners manual has it in there.

I signed one with my purchase from MM. Did they not have you sign one or did you just refuse to sign?

I was never asked to sign anything like that. I read everything before I signed it, and I would have signed it, if asked. I also looked through my copies of all the paperwork I received, and I don't see it in there.

The reality is there isn't the demand for the ERay that people think there is. Price is too close to the Z06, and let's be honest ERay is a pretty stupid name from a marketing perspective, about as bad as the Mach-E.

Should have given it a unique moniker to separate it more from the Stingray, imo. The name takes away from what a potentially great vehicle it may be.

Some have said ERAY not affected by sale under 6 months, but I signed the "do not flip" when order my went in at #1 hope June..
The 8 year "battery only" warranty is only thing covered if flipped too soon.
