Default Why does the heads up display flash?

On this video, the HUD flashes the entire time, how to stop this or is that not changeable?

It's because of the video. It doesn't do this in real life.

It doesn't flash. It has to do with the refresh rate and aperture time of the camera versus the refresh rate of the HUD. You will not see it sitting in your car, unless you have electronic eyes. If you have normal human eyes, it will not be a problem, unless maybe you shake your head violently.

Have you not seen this in videos before taking video of video screens or LED lights?

That happens in the C8 in the rear camera rearview mirror if a vehicle with LED lights pulls up behind you. It appears as the vehicle behind you LED lights are flashing.

There are some new cars that have a lot of LEDs on the front end, not just headlights. They can put on a freaky light show in the camera rear view “mirror”.

^^^ Some members have reported pulling over to the side of the road because they thought it was the cops or some other emergency vehicle behind them!
