Yep, in my prior business life have had quality videos made that appeared on TV made by professional ad agencies. Made my own ~25 videos for my business after I retired in 1999 (well semi, have part time Internet business.) They are done like movies! 1st a story board with scene/pic/video clip shown or mentioned on one side and "voice over" text adjacent. Those made for my business have few video clips where I actually am seen talking so can have 2 or 3 voice "takes" reading the script before I'm happy. Then all assembled with transitions and "legal sound software," not easy to find.

Leno's a Pro so probably gets it right the first time. Expect when they pan to Tadge may have taken several! GM attorneys no doubt approved the script!

I had a webchat with Emilia about a year ago.....After I put a snarky comment on one of her Youtube videos, she contacted me and wanted to talk. I came away with the impression that she knows how lucky she has been with her channel, and was in the right time / right place when the C8 launched. Would any of you turn down GM brass when they call you and ask to use your channel for their new Corvette???? We chatted for about 45 minutes, talked about all kind of cars, how she may step away from channel to do more acting ( had no idea she was an actress ) and I got the impression she loves cars and wrenching on them.

It just seems hypocritical of GM to promote and place above many others someone whos main purpose is to mod the heck out of it. Get the fan base to want one and then GM voids warranty's for even doing 5% of what she does..

She has a niche that many like and thats fine, but to think GM has to pander to sell ANY version c8 is a joke.

For me the 2nd part of Hagerty is more of what Im interested in. I was stunned they didn't bring out the other part along with everyone else. It seems it looks like GM is having most of the reviews but might have the track battles still on hold?

I would never abuse my cars like that unless I was given 30 days to live. I really don't enjoy watching cars do donuts in general. However, there are some engineering tidbits discussed and clearly GM was involved and wanted this exercise to occur. The younger guys love to watch stuff like that, so the marketing works for that age group.

Don't beat up the girl. I don't know anything about her but she seems pretty cool, has at least some knowledge and clearly likes cars and that's good for all of us.
