Default ERay Spoiler options

Has anyone done research on removing the ducktail spoiler on ERay, how many holes would need to be covered up in order to install a Z06 high wing? It sucks that spoiler delete is not an option, I personally hate the ducktail spoiler and wondering what aftermarket options would be, maybe someone going to Carlisle can post some close up pics.

It is my understanding that because of the extra downforce of the Z06 spoiler, there are reinforcements needed inside the rear bumper. It is much more than matching/covering holes.

Assuming it's going to be a similar setup to install it, which should be doable. My question was more about what it looks like when the ducktail spoiler is removed.

I know I will probably be criticized for this but I think something similar to the optional high wing from the Stingray would great on the Z06 and Eray.

If it's the same as the Z06 standard spoiler, there are 10 holes. Pretty sure my C6 Z06 spoiler has the same number iirc. Seems to be GM's magic number for installing rear spoilers.

Rear spoiler install starts around 20:00 in this vid.

That is one of the worst, if not the worst OEM Corvette rear spoiler get from GM. I was directly behind one the other day and it just looks horrendous.

The 2023 I bought off a dealer lot has one and I have grown to like it. The white high fin looks fine from the side or the back on an Arctic White car. I have had several thumbs up and nods from Ferrari and Lamborghini drivers, so they did not seem to mind it.

To the OP's point, I've just noticed that AGMotorsports now shows their aero bits (splitter/side skirts/spoilers) to be interchangeable for Z06 and ERay.

I hoped that would be the case but this is the first evidence I've seen. Have THEY tested their parts on an ERay? IDK but I take encouragement from that and will now leave some aero bits off of my ERay build in anticipation of aftermarket purchases.

i agree, the ducktail spoiler is not for me. Wedgy, mid-engined cars need a high wing in the back, if it was good enough for the Countach, it’s good enough for a C8. I’m #191 on the Stingray list for the ERAY, so I probably have 3- 4 years before I need to decide. But truthfully at this point, I’m not sure if I just won’t pass on it if I get called sooner.
