Like-new C8 Z51 3LT loaded and comes with carbon fiber high wing (see attached window sticker) garage kept 24/7 and routinely professionally washed bi weekly. Delivered early July 2023 so bumper-to-bumper warranty still got a long ways to go. Haven't done first service yet. First owner, clean title. Ordered from MM custom order.

The engine was replaced under warranty at 300 miles. GM-provided TAC team analyzed issue and supervised installation.
The car has no issues and runs flawlessly, service records will be provided. Only taken to a Corvette-certified dealership with Corvette techs. As you will see in the service record, I am a pain in the *** for the service department. I took the car in for multiple things that turned out to be just in my head, so you can be assured the car has no issues and was checked by the dealership multiple times. The new engine broke in properly and babied throughout the break-in period. Car treated like a queen, no burnouts, no donuts, no anything like that.

Why was the engine replaced at 300 miles? Did it experience catastrophic failure?
NO Catastrophic failure. I was taking off from a red light under normal acceleration and the engine shaked for a little bit and white smoke came out from the exhaust for around 2-3 seconds. Then it stopped and engine functioned normally. I drove around for a while and it didn't happen again so I brushed it off. Happened again the day after in a similar situation so I drove it directly to the dealership. Tech found metal shavings in the cylinders and water on the spark plugs. Thats when GM took over and made the decision to replace engine.
