Default WTB: C8 @MSRP Torch Red or blue. Willing to travel

This may be a long shot but if you know of a torch red or blue c8 at MSRP please SEND ME A TEXT 801-529-4474, please do not post said vehicle here! I have the funds ready, no bank hassles. I can travel and road trip the car home no issue there. I’ll wait as long as I need to to find one at MSRP. I know with GM cranking cars out again, and the economy on its way down shortly it shouldn’t be long. Thank you! Im open to all optioned cars. 👍 edit, I may consider low mile used cars for slightly under MSRP.

That isn't going to be for long. With the ability to order a 2021 just next month I don't even know if I would take one at MSRP now.

have one in your garage vs a sheet for paper that says you are getting one is a HUGE difference

The economy will surely tank! Zero question about it. With gm cranking out 100 more c8’s per day currently, that’s 2 more c8’s per state per day. Once this second closure of the economy happens prices will fall. Now if gm shuts down again, that would be a huge issue for guys like me lol.

if 2nd wave happens GM will shut down or their suppliers will have issues which means no cars for any of us.

I spoke with 3 diff dealers today that have all said they’ve sold plenty of them at MSRP for NEW cars. The issue is that they’re selling the same day they’re advertising them.

With all the new c8’s being shipped daily it’s only a matter of weeks that I locate one. I’ll be sure and post when the day comes.

I just saw a torch red today(it was sold) the orange peel was horrendous , and the rear bumper looked like a different color, other than that the C8 itself is a great looking car, and I am always bored with the non hippo cars.... not this one....fantastic.
Do yourself a favor and wait to see them in all colors in person, and pay MSRP..... maybe under..... this is coming from somebody who has bought 7 of them.

Had a Chevrolet dealer call me last night (7-18-20 @ 6:51 pm Central) and had a 3LT available at MSRP. It was 90k + and was out of my range so I didn't ask questions. Anyway my point is to the original poster don't give up they are out there to be had, although rare, they are there.

Good luck!

By the way what exactly
are you looking for?

Damn MSRP!? That’s a one out of hundred shot their. 99% of these cars being uploaded on dealers sites are pre sold orders for customers. Hey but maybe put out that dealerships name next time. I see lots of you guise talking About having dealers call y’all and or sale you c8s at msrp but none want to actually put that dealers name out there. Just saying

I have nothing to gain by lying about it. Call Rick Hendrick in Deluth Ga and find out for yourself. Only reason I didn't post is so I could give the original poster the first lick at it without someone swooping in ahead of him.

Almost any C8 that is advertised at MSRP is sold in 10 seconds. And I am willing to bet the car isn't at MSRP. .....which is probably a starting point. Loyal Dealers that sell at MSRP are selling to other dealers at markup. Then there is an additional markup from that dealer. Why do you see a Ford dealer selling a C8 way over MSRP? Now I could be totally wrong about this....it's just what I believe.

a dealer cannot legally sell a new C8 to another dealer. They have to be bought by a “private seller” and sales tax paid in sales tax states.

I am aware of that. What some people are doing is buying the car and flipping it to a dealer. I have already seen this done......just to clarify. That is the reason why you see these markups. Having said that, you just have to beat someone to the punch. And I am quite sure that is what you are doing .

that’s what I’m trying to do. I feel it’s possible but there will be leg work to find said deal in today’s current market. But with 115+ new c8’s being made daily, it’s literally just a matter of time before they all fall back to reality.

My guess is another month or two and we should see plenty available at MSRP and not have to buy it same day or it’s gone type of thing. Will see how it goes.
