Plus we get all the snowbirds but I've been telling myself that for years.
Just got off the phone, I pay $198 a month with USAA for my viper. Grundy gave me a quote for $2,145 yearly with 175k agreed value

Looks like I'll be switching shortly

Make sure you read you policy very well. My neighbor had Grundy and stopped to golf and when he was leaving he hit a golf cart. Waiting for the final details but as of last week they were trying like hell to get out of paying to fix it saying his policy didn't cover him being at a golf course. I'm going to be with him when he calls back in after the holidays so I'll get the exact details. I had a buddy use an agreed value company and he went through hell also. I can't remember the company though. Just read the policy very good.

That was my original concern. I drive my car as often as I can, I don't want a stop at the gas station to be the factor that denies me a claim

I got my bill from Grundy yesterday. I have my 16 Z06 & my 19 ZR1 covered for 100K and 150K. $ 2,600 for the year.

I had my 79 Trans Am covered by Grundy and when it caught fire and was totaled Grundy was great. I also had a friend that had his 69 Camaro covered and when it was totaled Grundy did great for him too. That's why I have both of my Vette's covered by them.

How were those driven? With the exception of car shows, I'm usually taking the car to date nights, lunch, dinner, etc

They were both only driven on weekends or car shows. But they never asked about mileage on either one of them.

Did they give you a limit on how much you could drive?

My premium with Travellers for the ZR1 is exceptionally cheap. Garaged, 5k miles a year pleasure use, and all the possible discounts including theft recovery device (OnStar subscription), $1k deductible for comp and collision, $50 glass deductible, uninsured motorist, and higher limits for bodily injury and property damage (required because of lease on one of my other cars on the policy). $560 a year. However, I’m at ACV for comp and collision. So this thread was a nice reminder for me to call Travellers and change things to agreed value since I’m sure their ACV would probably wind up screwing me out of at least $40k at this current moment in time should something terrible happen.
