ZR1 Future Value With ZTK Manual 2019
I’m on the fence selling my 2019 ZTK Manual Coupe with 2900 miles. The car is loaded with comp seats and listed for 143,000. I have an offer of 205,000 for the car but having second thoughts. I have one day to decide. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks

What are your seconds thoughts? That it will be worth more or that you will want the car to enjoy the moment you sell it? If you are worried about missing the car then don't sell it. If it's money, sell it. I have pretty much the same car in silver with 4400 miles and if I had a 205K offer I would sell it. However I would miss it the very next day. That's why I wouldnt sell it.
If you're not attached to it and have a 205K offer, sell it.

I have a ZTK manual with 2,900 miles that had a $144K MSRP. I wait until I get $244K to decide to sell it. Unfortunately, we don't know which way it is headed. It could go south or into a highly sought collectible status like the 2005 Ford GT and the Viper ACR. I hope the latter.

Thanks guys for your opinions. My wife doesn’t want me to sell it. Looks like I will just keep it. It definitely is a great looking piece of art.

If someone will pay you $205000.00 is that not the same as buying it for $205000.00?

Take a look at the rennlist 997 forums. Find the threads from 2012 asking similar questions for 997 GT2. Last manual transmission, forced induction 911 GT car - ever. Take a look at what those cars go for now. I think they are 2X MSRP or more, around $400-500k.

I sold mine about 3 months ago and have a deposit down for a new turbo s. I loved my zr1 but it was time to move on for me. I don't like the c8's. They are trying to be an exotic car in my opinion and just aren't. I always loved the rumble and feel of the v8. The c7 zr1 was the last of this in my eyes. Each person has their own opinion but for $205k that is probably a number that won't be back in our life times.

I had someone offer me 190k for mine. It isn’t for sale but I have to say i thought about it. I asked my wife what she thought. She asked me if there was anything else I wanted more than the zr1. Short of a mclaren p1 I said no. She then asked me if the 50k I made on selling it would change my life? I said no so I decided to keep it. This car is so amazing. Every time I drive it I can’t believe how fun it is to drive. So much power with a manual transmission. I love looking out over that big hood and seeing the wing in the rear view mirror. The car looks amazing and on top of that the Sebring orange is incredible. Especially in the sun. Everyone has their own reasons why they do things. The money you make might change your life or you may have another car you would rather have. Good luck on your decision. You are fortunate to have had the opportunity to own one of these bad boys. One thing I will say is like me, it sounds like your wife is a keeper.

Myself and another local manual ZR1 owner talk about this all the time. Neither of us can come up with anything that would be comparable to replace the car with. Unless I get in a situation where I have to sell it I feel like this car will be one I take to the grave.

I'd wait, I'm seeing zr1s go for the mid to high 200s.
the C7 Zr1 is the pinnacle of the classic corvette. We will never see a front engine corvette again and you own the best performing version.
I'd wait until you get 300 or more, look at the vipers that go for 3 to 400

I wouldn't sell it for that. Mine is an A8 and I won't sell it anywhere near that, in fact I probably won't sell it at all.

After not driving mine for several weeks I drove it this morning to my office, reminds me how much I love driving this beast........ that being said, if I see pricing & offers getting higher & higher
I would have to think about selling, maybe......??
