He graciously offered help (no commission) to sell my ZR1 and even sent me some leads. I have kept in contact with him. He reached out to me today and advised of the sale of the SO ZR1 and the second ZR1 which is Shadow Gray.

Deb...this very ZR1 sold for $179,500 on BAT yesterday. See link below. Apparently the winner of the BAT auction now has it for $289,000. There is another ZR1 almost identical to this one on Autotrader with the same asking price of $289,00 but supposedly "In the wrapper" with 13 miles. I am aware of 2 recent sales of very low miles ZR1 coupes that went for $215K and $225K. Looks like I sold mine a little too early and too low of a price.

Michael, thanks for all the info! Love following these sales! I see a lot of people selling both ZRs and C8s only to have them turn up on the resale sites much higher

I sold my ZR1 in July. I asked for$195K and had only a few interested at that price. Lowered it to $190K and sold it for $187,500. The dealer who bought mine sold it this past week for approx. $215K. Search my posts and you will see my for sale thread on here. Prices had pulled slightly back during July/August and unfortunately for me right around the time I was selling. Right now prices are edging back up, that BAT ZR1 that sold yesterday is an A8. A8's appear to now be moving up since the 7M's with low miles+ZTK are hovering just under and over $200K. The 2 ZR1's on Autotrader (both SO pkg) that are now listed at $289K were bought very recently for $215K and $179.5K.

The seller didn't even wait to get the car, he reused the pics from the BAT ad. Not very bright lol.

Some of these prices are crazy. Even worse are the people who buy them at those prices.

I suppose it is all relative to your amount of wealth and the intended use of the vehicle.

Exactly, cars are objects of passion and if you want something badly enough you'll pay for it. For example, I recently had my first opportunity to drive a Viper ACR-E (happened to also have a 9.0L stroker!) and am now obsessed with it. Now, I don't currently have $270,000 to buy one, but if I did, I probably would. I can imagine someone just now realizing how wonderful and special the ZR1 is, but they missed the very small window to buy them for MSRP or below. In that case, if they want a ZR1, they really don't have a choice but to pay today's market value for one.

I completely agree. I'm a little over 34K myself.

Well, at a price of $110K less than this car, I guess mine could be considered a great deal...
