Default Speeding ticket

Driving lessor cars/trucks I haven't received a speeding ticket in 17 years ...and barely a month after getting my ZR1 I get one for doing 82 in a 70 zone. Oh well.

Go to Spring Mountain and you really can see what these cars are capable of doing and not worry about the long arm of the law, just be careful it’s very addictive

82? That car doesn't start to wake up until it is at 100. LOL

Yeah just tell him you were less than half of the car's maximum speed. They would understand.
I 2nd the Spring Mountain suggestion. I'll never forget hearing and watching the ZR1's rip around the track. Impressive.

Exactly 👍🏻 Actually surprised there wasn’t a warning instead. I usually have my cruise set for 12-14 over depending on traffic. Must have been end of the month quota time 😏

Man that's a sucky ticket to get. Go to court, pay the fine and ask the judge to withhold adjudication.

Back in the day, I wouldn't even think about looking at you unless you were 20mph over. I didn't want to be a hypocrite

Deferred Adjudication. Still costs upfront, but the Insurance doesn't know.

Hang back as far as possible and still keep the rabbit's brake lights clearly visible. When the Cop turns on his radar to catch the rabbit your detector will go off and you can slow down and wave to the rabbit while he is getting pulled over. If rabbit turns off, repeat the process.

My last was in 1997. I’ve been lucky and relatively intelligent about my speeding since then but it’s really only a matter of time until I break my 22 year ticket free streak. The car just begs to be driven fast. I’ve been using the rabbit technique for years, and now with my Uniden R7 and Waze I’m just a laser jammer away from maximum protection.
