Default Be sure to take advantage of the ZR1 Owners' School !!

Wow ! My wife and I had an awesome time out in Pahrump, NV this week at the owners' school. Everything was first class including the cars, instructors, food (breakfast and lunch each day), the check-in process, the condos, track, etc. We literally paid $218 for the extra night you can buy and $40 for my guest fee. Yep, I let the wife take my spot since she let me buy the car and I still had a great time. They are very accommodating to guests. I was able to take part in all classroom discussions, the tech walk around and had plenty of hot laps with instructors. We had a blast and plan to return when the wife gets her C8. Oh, and the professional photography was great as you can see below. Best $258 I have ever spent plus $150 for the optional pictures.

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing/posting!
I was there ~2 weeks ago: same great experience.
We were told only ~1/3 of ZR1 owners were attending!?
I'd encourage those of you that haven't taken advantage of this experience to do it, even if you'll never track your ZR1!

Just did the COS this past weekend (Nov 2-3) and agree. This is my second time attending. Even at the $1000 the course cost (I have a non ZR1) it is well worth it. For those of you lucky enough to have the entire cost paid by GM, it is even more of a no brainer. Do yourself a favor and go if you haven't yet before your time is up.

I did the level 1 school in Sept in an M7 Z06. One of the best experience I've ever had. Everything there is first class and worth every cent. Make sure to get the photos. I bought the photo stick with all my pics and bought a 24x36 framed print. Shipped right to my door and perfect. Going back in spring for level 2!! Can't wait!

So if you have the ZR1 and do the ZR1 school can you also do the CoS for $1000? If so, is there any added value or is it pretty much the same thing?

No. The COS is offered to anyone who purchased a new corvette within a year of purchase for a subsidized price. For Stingray, GS and ZO6 owners they all take the same class and it costs us $1000 ( a great deal for what you get). The ZR1 owners do what I assume is the same school, but GM foots the whole bill in that case. You would be absolutely crazy to not take advantage of the opportunity.
You can still do COS without purchasing a new Vette, but you would have to pay the full amount ($2500 for stingray, with up charges for GS, ZO6. Not sure if you can do the ZR1 course without being an owner)

What do you all get with the pictures? Meaning, can you just get one picture of you running the track for $50, then all of them for $250? What are the picture options available as I am headed to the class at the end of this month.
Thank you,
JG853

everybody gets a complementary group picture. You can then buy the pictures of yourself individually for $150 on a USB stick. If you want to do individual prints of those pictures they are priced according to size and they are made and sent to you. It’s not too bad of a deal. You get at least 25 pictures of yourself. and they give a 10% discount to first responders, military, etc.
