Default Front splitter protection

I recommend applying this when the car is new

Lowered my Z......and my front splitter has taken an A$$ Whippin’ before I applied SLIPLO

Any pics from the top or in front of the car? I’m trying to see if that piece is visible unless looking from the bottom.

Looks kinda thick. Seems to sacrifice a good bit of ground clearance itself!

That looks interesting, however I'm not sure I want to "stick" something underneath the CF splitter even if it protects the splitter from getting scraped up entering/exiting steep driveways.

The afkt. needs to make a "plastic CF looking" front splitter that attaches to the car just like OE and let that take the punishment on this car and keep the OE CF splitter safe and sound stored somewhere. Somebody in the business that sees this should make it happen...……………..I'd be the first in line to buy one if it is available.

There are a number of vendors on this very forum that offer the products you seek.

The splitter on my 19 ZR1 has more clearance than the C6 ZR1 so it hasn't been a big problem, I am at stock height though.

Could you please post which vendors have the product? I would really appreciate it.

Carbon fiber sheets with adhesive backing would work perfectly and would not sacrifice appearance or clearance.

Well, I stand corrected; this came by email today from ScrapeArmor:

https://www.scrapearmor.com/collecti...SDVBR2QyIn0%3D

"Save 20% if you pre-order; ships mid-October."

And I just ordered the SlipLo protector day before yesterday...

ScrapeArmor kit looks like it'll take more punishment + be more protective, but will be thicker + ? harder to install while on-car.

I had entire front of car Xpel'd, including undersection of front splitter: I can tell you it's not very protective of that area, even on light touch-downs (I understand it's not meant for that application - just FYI).

Decisions, decisions...

Your thoughts?

Thanks in advance...

I just got the email for preorder

it looks like it’s going to be a great protector

For the $$

the SLIPLO product works great

i had it on my Z for a bit before posting pics here

it does work well.....just be sure to clean surface well and use the 3M adhesive promoter

ill probably get the ScrapeArmor....

but ...

my last experience with pre-order (carbon fiber bits from W/X ) has been horrible

ill just wait till it’s in stock
