Default Took the coating plunge !

Being an old school wash and wax guy I had reservations about coatings. Much thanks to Brian Rice of Polished 2 Perfection LLC in Columbia, MD ! Well worth the 7 hr round trip twice from VA.

Looks amazing but the bottom of the hood on the passenger side sticks out too much. You can unbolt adjust the gap and rebolt or have the service do it for you.

I don’t think it’s recommended to clear wrap over the coating, as doesn’t adhere properly.

Thanks! I did not notice until you pointed it out. Is that difficult to adjust?

Thats all spot on MTO. I saw one of these jobs today at Cars for Kids. I should have taken pictures and will next time. Also 3m and Xpel both advise against installing it over coatings. I hope you got a written guarantee from the installer just in case there are problems 3 to 5 years down the road.

2003pilot,

Looks Great!!

You are going to love how easy it is to wash your ZR1 with the nano-coating. Just get a clean leaf blower to blow it dry once your done with the final rinse...Instant Shine!!

No very easy, you can do it yourself... Just make sure not to slam the hood when closing while adjusting...
