ZR1 stolen from dealer in Nashville, TN
Anyone know any more details about this car/cars? Obviously the thieves knew what they were stealing but they must be pretty dumb... a car this rare/low production is easily accounted for if it ever turns up again.

In Alabama we have a method of dealing with that. If the driver accelerates toward you while you are trying to stop it - game over.

Come on GM you need to get with the program! My wifes new Audi has an app that shows where the car is at all times so if it gets stolen it is easily recoverable.

Knowing where the car is won't help if its being driven when stolen as there will be nothing left of the car to recover but the pieces

The onstar app does this but you have to subscribe obviously. They also advertise that it will send an alert to your phone when the alarm goes off. That part doesn’t work tho based on my tests lol.

It seems if the battery is disconnected this would make no difference. Unless this system operates off an alternate power supply segregated and hidden from the primary energy source(the battery)

So I have this right, they drove the cars out so they had the fobs and there is no video footage or they just don't want to show us the video. They had to be mighty fast to avoid alarms and the cops after smashing that front door.

The OnStar module has a dedicated backup battery. I don't know how long it lasts though.

This happened recently at a Dealership in Jacksonville, FLA. No video, drove off with a bunch of cars after getting through the Gate.
