Default Need some input

I have received my vin number (1054) and i know it was built on Sept 20th. The question i have is what could possibly hold up delivery this long. I have made numerous calls to my dealer and had just vas many chats with Chevy still no info. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions.

You should escalate your issue to GM Customer Service. They will generate a case and will contact the dealer and the area rep likely and give you a response. GM chat is somewhat hit or miss Based on my experience. It sure sounds strange but I do know they ship the cars in batches....I was told last week my car was in route only to find out today that it’s still in Bowling Green waiting to be picked up.

What is your Event Status Code. Chevrolet Chat should have given you this info.

If you have a VIN you can track your car using Onstar.

Your car was built on 9/20/2018, order number WGCZR9 according to:

Your dealer has the information (where the car is). Someone is not telling you the story. Maybe, it fell off the truck or damaged and they are waiting for parts/repairs...

That’s my understanding. I did a museum delivery on 12/28 but the car was built on 11/22. I was unable to pick it up and the museum held it for me. When I saw it on 12/28 at the museum we set up OnStar and then I had it shipped to San Deigo and was able to track it. Now it’s on a boat in the Pacific Ocean and OnStar is unable to track it in the hull of the boat. I would call your dealer and demand an answer. My car is vin 1347 by the way. It was available for pick up on 12/5. Good luck!

Something is bad wrong with this story. You have been exceedingly patient, maybe your dealer sold it to someone else?

Something is strange, my car was built the week after Thanksgiving, and I was driving it 10 days later, we live in the same area of the country

Carbone Chevy has some explaining to do if this is accurate. What are they telling you? There s no way in H*** someone does not know what happened to this car and/or where it's at. How many ZR1s did you order/ do you own? Seems you posted you purchased one from that dealership and was selling another ???:???
PS-Do NOT activate Onstar to track your cars, there are a list of reasons what can go wrong.

I have been very patient. This is my 2nd ZR1 received my orange 1 in August. I've had a lot of problems with this dealer but I don't think its been sold.

That's where I live but it's not here.

I know I received my 1st 1 about a week after it was built.

I have 1 already that was purchased from another dealership. This car was supposed to be exactly the same as the other 1 I ordered. But when the dealership found out I had 2 ordered and 1 was accepted they canceled mine and decided to build the car they wanted. Yes I raised h*** and had the new order put in my name thats why i have 2.
