Default Gas tank funnel

OK, I’m aggravated. Just tried to add Stabil to my tank and the s**t went everywhere but in the tank! Assuming I need to attach a small diameter rubber tube to my funnel to make it work?

The car was shipped with a long neck funnel exactly for the purpose of adding additives. There are two separate gateways that have to be engaged to add fluids. You must be missing yours.

I would not use a rubber tube. Someone else on the Forum did that with the inner gateway grabbing the rubber or vinyl tube and would not let it go. With Forum help, he eventually got it to release to extract it.

Thank you. This exact thing happened to me last year and I couldn’t figure out why.

How do you get the Sta-Bil from the left side tank to the right side tank? Do you need to drive it for awhile after adding the Sta-Bil?

Add to the tank at the gas station just ahead of refilling the car. I would not add it to a tank already filled.
