Default Wheel color options for 2017 Z (Watkins Glen)

I have a set of OEM chrome wheels off of a 2017 Z06 (CCB) that I'd like to either sell or trade to buy either a Satin Grey or black set. Not sure which color I want to go with and was wondering if anyone had a Watkins Glen Grey Z06 with pictures of both to help make my decision. Also I'll be posting this in Parts For Sale but if anyone is interested in trading I'd prefer to go that route. TIA

Kinda a tough choice in your color.. I'd go black, but that's me.. but both would look good I think

I’ve seen black and the spectra grey on WGG and my personal preference is the spectra grey. I like how the polished lip helps set off the wheels and the dark grey metallic compliments the awesome WGG paint.

Mine is WGG with gloss black if it helps. I also added black lugnuts.

Forgelines - didn’t care for the bright color, so I returned them and had them powder coated in graphite. Much prefer the "after" look below.

Those wheels look good in any color but yeah I think the black looks better. Are these Forgelines less prone to bending/cracking than the OEM? Also I may just look into powder coating the ones that I have to black. Just wonder what flat black would look like

The Forgelines will definitely hold up better than the OEM's as they're forged wheels. It would take a pretty good wallop to bend or crack one.

Mine came with black wheels. While I think that they looked great with the Watkins Glen Gray, I just don't like black wheels. In dim light, you can't see them very well, they always look dirty, and they show every nick & scratch.

This is my cold weather setup. They are Forgestar CF10 powdercoated in a custom hyper black, which is a fine silver mist over a black base coat, leaving the inner barrels black.

Mine came with spectra grey when new. I changed to Forgeline EX1 in pearl grey.

Look nice. Did you you return them to Forgeline who re-finished them? Did they charge you or was it covered by their return policy?

I bought them from Jerry at CW4L with tires mounted, returned them the same way. Forgeline refinished them, and yes, there was a charge for it. I didn't expect them to do it for free since it was my mistaken choice initially.

I don’t think I would spend any money on OEM wheels. Too many issues with bending and cracking. This set of BC forged wheels was about $4500.

If you only want OEM wheels, the set I currently have on my Z06 were a $3700 option. Very nice wheels and you can get them for a lot less than that now. I will eventually replace these with forged wheels.

WGG with triple black signature wheels... These were very close in color to WGG. I ended up selling these and now have black Forgelines. To me over time having a contrasting color looks better, these started to wash the car out IMO.
