How Much Power Can You Make on Stock Lifters
Does anyone know how much power you can make on stock AFM lifters before they become a risk? Looking to do 2650 and port injection. Planning to make around 800-850whp.

Depending on how you wanna view it they are kind of a risk just being there. Why not just go ahead and change them out along with a cam swap and make the 2650 work even better?

I replaced all my lifters with LS7 units and trays.
of course I also installed the katech delete plate.along with ported new heads ,springs , chrome moly push rods and Che bronze guides. The dod lifters aren’t fail proof. 702/724 rw

Was that on stock cam? I was under the impression you can't change lifters on stock cam.
