Default C7R lookalike in Denver.

Just got back from our trip to Denver, and saw this. Sounded really good. Wondering if it belongs to anybody here?
BTW, why is gasoline prices SO MUCH cheaper in Colorado compared to California? I don't even know what crazy taxes are put on gas here. It's $3.55 for premium vs. $6.50.

I can't speak to the car's ownership, but I trust your gas cost question was rhetorical. Generally speaking, costs are higher there because of policies (beyond just taxes) put in place by your elected representatives. The last info I've seen indicates CA taxes gas at $0.54/gal, while CO taxes it at $0.22/gal, so that about 11% of the difference you cite.

If misery loves company, rest assured Colorado is doing its best to keep up with California in the big government and big tax arenas. Polis and his ilk aspire to be more like Newsom and his.

RVP fuel has been around for decades in every state.

California also has its own refineries which set the pricing tone for the state. When they go offline for required maintenance, that reduces supply and spikes demand. Taxes as shown in a previous post doesn't explain all the cost. The biggest driver of gas prices are always those who part of the production process, taxes just skim off the top of those extra costs.
