23k miles on my 2019 that I bought brand new almost 4 years ago and the passenger rear is cracked. I’m waiting on a set of Forged One Monoblock wheels from TireRack to end the problem completely.

I went back to the stock wheels and I've got another 10k with them, and no problems (knock on wood). All told, I've got about 21k on the stock wheels and the "stronger" aftermarket ones barely lasted me 11k.
@twiget were the aftermarket wheels that cracked mono block forged or flow formed? Make and model?

Where did you get the factory repro wheels?

I believe House of Wheels is popular here.

is this just a 19 issue? Or I'd imagine this spans across all C7Z06 wheels? I'm losing PSI slowly in my left rear and thought about this. Need to pull it off and see. Can't one just have a wheel repair company repair the crack? Or is this not a solution due to the metal / casting process?

A wheel repair company may be able to weld the crack but the reality is really good tig welders are not working at wheel repair companies so the fix would only be temporary.

If you happen to know someone who works on race motors and is familiar with welding damaged aluminum heads he can probably weld it properly.

Sounding like a broken record...there is no engineering process for "flow forging". The proper term for these wheels is injection molded, which is a method of casting. The result are wheels about 1/5th the strength of a forged wheel.

My wheels were still under warranty when they went. Chevy dodged by saying I must have hit something...which is total BS.

Thanks. Those are rotary forged. Not mono-block.

Glad you had good luck. I did one trip with the museum in motion (Ky one lap) with some rougher than normal roads. When I returned home and had things checked, I had 2 bent and 1 one cracked wheel on my 16Z. I replaced the cracked (from house of wheels) and had the others straightened. So far (8k miles later) all is good. The Discount Corvette tire tech said he had never had a Z06 come in that DIDN’T have a bent wheel. He said most of them will balance out OK. He let me know that mine weren’t perfect but there was no need to replace.

Buy apex or signature (or other forged) and thank us later stop trying to chase a losing war with the factory wheels.
