Merry Christmas & welcome !
This past week was my one year anniversary with mine and I absolutely love it !! The best Christmas gift ever.

Here are a few things that may change in your life as they did for me:
You May:
- walk into the garage at least three times an evening just to look at it
- drive with the radio off & windows open just to hear it
- look for any opportunity to down shift just to get that exhaust to bark with rev match on
- have conversation with perfect strangers at the gas station ( every time )
- wake up excited for the drive to work
- Give Thanks to the Universe for bringing this forward !

Enjoy & add to this list.

Lol I walk to the garage many times to look at it and downshift as well just to hear it! And yeah I give thanks to my God for this wonderful Christmas gift from Him.

I bought some new items and waiting to install the aero kit pieces on my Z06!

Corvette keychain...because why not. lol

Tow ring (front)

EOS front splitter (stage 3 aero kit)

Other stage 3 aero kit pieces including side end caps for the front splitter (EOS), rear spoiler upgrade (genuine GM part) with wickerbill (EOS), and rear diffuser fins (EOS)

Since my Z06 is a 2LZ, I already have the genuine GM side skirts that come with the stage 3 aero kit, however I will be replacing my stock front splitter with the stage 3 EOS front splitter with side end caps.

Quick question, would installing these aero kit pieces (because a lot of them are EOS minus the rear spoiler upgrade) affect my genuine GM extended warranty?

Would installing the front tow hook ring affect my genuine GM warranty as well?

2LZ does not automatically come with Stage 3 aero. Like the front splitter, side skirts come in different configurations. Unless yours were previously upgraded, they're most likely the "standard" 3/4 length, rather than Stage 3.

No, unless you drill into something critical when removing/replacing mounting hardware (i.e., rivets).

No, unless you damage something when installing it.

Thanks for the reply! I thought the stage 3 aero kit side skirts were the same size as the 2LZ side skirts, so in that case I might look for the EOS version of the stage 3 side skirts if it's not upgraded.

Here are some pictures of my Z06's current side skirts:

How much bigger or longer are the stage 3 side skirts from the ones offered on the 2LZ? Do these look like stage 3 side skirts and if so, how can I check if mine were already upgraded?

No. Those are "standard" 3/4 length, rather than Stage 3. Full-length skirts extend all the way to the rear wheel well, protecting the lower quarter panel. Mine are C7 Carbon, rather than GM, but these should give you an idea...

Nice color on your Z06! Thanks for letting me know about the side skirts, I purchased the EOS version of it to go with the rest of the stage 3 aero kit so I hope to get that installed soon.

I wonder if GM was trying to save 11 or maybe 18 cents by not putting full length side skirts on 2LZ.

I believe there is a transmission line on driver side. Be careful drilling on that side. I’m not sure it this was only on A8 or on M7 as well.

there are threads describing not to drill too deep on driver’s side.

good luck. This forum is full of information.

Great looking Z06. I am also located in Southern California and just got my Z06 about 6 weeks ago. Love it so far.

Thanks for the replies everyone!

I have installed the stage 3 aero kit plus a few more items and made a video about it on my YouTube channel:
