Z06 power
Hi everyone I am looking into buying a 2015 corvette z06 3LZ, I am curious what would I have to do to make anywhere from 630-650 Wheel horsepower I know they make 650 crank I believe and 570 wheel stock I believe I’m not 100% sure but it’s what I’ve heard if anyone can give me some advice on how I can reach that I would greatly appreciate it thank you!

I have a 15 Z07/M7 and added a Halltech CAI and had it tuned at Corvette Center in Newington, CT. It made 622 at the wheels. Dyno before tune and CAI was 582. But keep in mind weather(Temp) and type of Dynamometer will give you a wide array of results.

Getting there is easy with bolt on parts. The trick is cooling it enough to keep it consistently there.
Quick easy way I think is a 2650 sc upgrade with an aux radiator addition. The 2650 will pull in more air with less boost pressure needed and make less heat and still get you to 700whp to start.

Mine is stock, so my opinions are only based on what I’ve read here. I was totally shocked at how much of an increase people get with the (Halltec I think) CAI. If you want to minimize the degree to which you modify your car, then CAI, headers, and a tune would probably get you there. If you have the money to spend, then the Maggie supercharger would be a great option.
Others here who have actually modded their cars can give you more useful info

good luck on getting the car you want, i would get it dynoed to see your starting point. then research on here but if you know you want to be louder wise and dont have exhaust requirements in your area you could get long tube headers and x-pipe combo both with no cats and use the stock axle back as long as it has npp valve exhaust, could toss on a ported TB and cold air intake then get tuned.
im not sure where im at but i just went with no cat x-pipe, axle back exhaust, ported tb and cold air intake. if i ever make it to a local dyno/tuner i wouldnt mind find finding out where im at and what a tune can do for me.
from researching it seems the stock is really safe so there is some gains to be had just from tuning, especially with a few mods.

If you're going to chase dyno numbers, make sure you stay with the same dyno before and after otherwise, you will never know. As for headers, nothing lowers the value for me more than cheap headers. Heat and rattles go up, refinement goes down. There used to be a guy in this forum who had catless downpipes designed and he sold them on the side. The LT4 exhaust manifold flows just fine, it's just the cats.
You could try a x-pipe without the secondary cats but I think the EPA is making it harder to find those. A Tony Mamo ported throttle body is probably a great place to start, his parts show before and after flow numbers. You don't even need a full-fledged CAI, just get a better air filter (AFE Pro Dry S). I did a tune on my otherwise stock Z06 A8 and gained +40 rwhp/rwtq on his tune alone.

AFE CAI, 2.3" upper pulley and tune = 660 WHP and 617 WTRQ. Install and tune done at ECS in NJ.

There are already some limits to how you can drive the car stock. Like low speed full throttle and while the steering wheel is turned can cause loss of control. You might want to drive it awhile and see if you want to make those conditions worse.

Unless the nannies are off you will find it difficult to do even a donut on stock power.
The traction management is impressive on these cars, my car dynos around 605hp qnd the ptr doesn't miss a beat on track. I even tried a track mode race drag launch on an unprepped surface and saw little drama from the launch.
