DSX LT4 billet lid

I have this lid and it definitely allows you to hear the blower wine more.
I did a bunch of other mods at the same time so I can’t attest to any performance gains from the lid alone.

Warranty discussions are largely pointless, since warranty claims involve many factors like the type of failure you experience, whether the failure is related to a mod you installed, the servicing dealer's view of your mods, and (if the failure is serious enough) GM's view of your mods. If you're worried about the warrenty, you should probably keep it stock until you're no longer worried. All of that said, swapping lids is about a 15-20 minute job done with nothing more than a ratchet...

I wasnt going to go with any stickers/emblems, a small gray dsx logo is on the very top middle of the lid mostly under the cowl area, other than that i was going with the plain jane appearance.
they recommended i go with the wrinkle black because I was trying to match the other factory engine bay material looks and i think it works well.
Underneath the stock lid it was pretty clean for having 23k miles. I had some small oil spots and some residual throughout that i cleaned up with a few paper towels and the stock oem gaskets came out fairly easily.
also the new lid doesnt require re-using those plastic bolt retainers that are in the stock lid.
I then blew out top of the super charger area and then the lid to ensure no debris and installed everything back together.
the rear cowl area bolts were not as bad as they appear since i was able to gently flex it some to get 3 out of the four and the deepest one i used a crows foot 10mm to snug it down.
once i got all the bolts hand snug i tighten from the 4 inner bolt to out pattern and repeated again.
