Default C7 Z06 vs the world

Hey guys I have been on the forums for a long time but I just made an account and joined. My z06 is tuned on E-85 with a Halltech CAI, and in this video I take on a new 2020 GT500 with a JLT intake.
Check out my YouTube channel for more 😎

Doing e85 right off the back is the best bang for the buck performance wise with these cars.

Hopefully you will stop racing on a busy highway especially at night before you have a life changing event, for the bad. I have been involved in both and it is not pretty.

I totally agree with this, my stock C7 ran 12.06@116 and added Dsx E85 sensor and tune. Best pass after that was 11.58@120, both ets with the Nitto 555r2s.

so I tested it when my car was lowered and breaking traction off the hit, and got 6.3 consistently, now that it's raised back up to the proper ride height I'm gonna try it again. But yeah 3,4,5 is pretty quick

Dude! Same thing is happening to me (key fob being taken), lucky for me whoever the driver is, they're always nice enough to film for me

So you car is bone stock other than a tune and running E85? No other mods at all?

I am not disputing either, just asking. I have a CAI, Mamo PTB and a AWE catless x-pipe right now. Was thinking of doing a gas tune, then add the E85 and E85 tune and maybe the upper pulley next along with a WB02 so I can monitor the tune.

so all I have is the Stage 1 kit from CCNC_official, just a halltech cold air intake and flex fuel kit and flex tune. Adding a tb/pulley will effect the amount of ethanol you can run. I wanted to do headers and pulley and tb and all that, but my tuner told me because of the limitations of high side pressure in the stock cam, adding all that limits how much ethanol you can run. Also the cool thing about the flex tune is you can run straight 91 or 93, and any blend of ethanol up to 50% and not have to “switch” tunes like on mustangs. Here’s the link to my kit I have. https://ccnorcal.com/2015-2019-chevr...age-1-package/

I am well versed in the E85 on GM, last 2 cars have been setup on E85. I am weighing the upgrade to E85 alone or with a upper griptech pulley knowing that it means only being able to run a blend. My thought is if I do the E85 along and only pick up 40rwhp at E70 or with E85 and the pulley running E40-E50 and pick up 60-70 rwhp. Trying to see which way will get me to my end goal of 650-675 rwhp from the current 594rwhp.

ahh okay well yeah you’d need to upgrade the cam to run anything over E50, especially with pulleys, and the fuel injectors are good for 750whp without meth. The average whp gain is 80-110 with cai and flex tune. So I should be at about 650whp with what I have now if not more. I’ll have a dyno day soon and I’ll post the video and results on here.

i own a 2016 Z06 A8 and a 2020 GT500....stock though, the GT500 is definitely quicker and faster .. 1/8th mile Z06 7.15 at 100.3 mph (with sticky tires) GT500 7.02 at 105.3 with stock tires and 350 miles on it
