Buying A New Muffler At Carlisle, Which One
Hello to all and just got to Carlisle and wanting to get a new exhaust for my 2019 Z06, I know nothing about which is best one. Any input is great as just saw a AWE that they are doing installs on? Thanks again. Tom

Of the corsa and awe, which sounds deeper or more rich?

Are you doing an x pipe as well? I recently had an AWE x pipe installed on my 16z. Car is louder at at start up and WOT.
I'd say AWE sounds more deep and the Corsa sounds more exotic/high pitched.

Thanks for reply and I know nothing on x pipes. Ha ha. There is a MAGNA FLOW with black tips in stock. Thinking on that as about a $1,000 more but looks nice as I no noting on muffles or x pipes but want a better sound. Thanks

Considerations generally include sound level, tonal quality, and price. But, I would propose that the other two not often discussed issues which can have real world impact are the option for integration of NPP control and the complete elimination of drone.
Just FYI, I had BB shorty headers on my C5 and Corsa Xpipe along with the Corsa Sport system. Great sound, great tone and zero drone tendency.
However, I could not recommend anything for a C7 Z06 because mine is stock except for the Attack Blue Dry Nano air filter. Always keep in mind that both the sound level and the tonal quality on such a new system will generally improve measurably after 12 months and/or a couple thousand miles.
