We got introductory pricing. I suspect that the lid will retail for around $1300-1500 shipped.

Good stuff. Lid is solid and you can definitely hear the blower whine more also.

Pretty, but I seriously doubt the HP claims. Sounds like the pre production claims for a certain ram air system mfg. that never materialized a few years ago.

Wonderful!!! The blower is definitely louder after installing it. You’ll love the fit and finish on it.

I just got word that I should be returning to the states in early November. I'll begin my testing of the lid shortly thereafter. I've already arranged for dyno time and a remote tuner. I just need to send off my TCM when I get home. Hopefully I'll be able to report back with some good news. Koua did tell me that his supercharger whine is more audible under normal driving conditions but he also has full exhaust so, likely the sound is a bit subdued.

Got the new LMP lid on and just wanted to give you some feedback on it.
First it’s a much better looking lid than the rest.It is taller then the stock one and seems to be just as heavy. I had the NX lid before and it was much lighter.
So does it just look bigger or is it the same in size???
Well I did some measuring and this is what I came up with based on the stock lid.

Side by side.

Stock lid outside measuring

LMP outside measuring

Stock lid inside measuring

LMP lid inside measuring shows to have a lot more volume to it.

Looks are killer👍🏽
One last thing about this lid is that you do get a bit more sound from the supercharger but not nearly as much as the NX lid did.I think it’s because this lid is a lot thicker so it holds more of the sound in. I got this lid more for the looks and we will see what it does on the dyno for performance soon.

The lid looks great on the car.

So it looks to be about a 1/4" taller than the 17+ lid. Which isn't bad. That's just more volume. I just got back to the states a few hours ago. I'll hopefully have something to report back with on a near-stock car.

The NX Lid was probably that much shorter than the 17+ lid when I took a look at them before I installed mine. I feel like it may be misleading though as the NX lid may be really thin, which helps the sound be louder and be deceptively larger in the interior than it appears on the exterior. I assume you no longer have the NX lid to do the same analysis on that?
