Bought my first Z06

Burning Brakes
The car is in Miami and I am in Virginia. And yes I have done that drive numerous times but I am working a lot of overtime due to the coronovirus thing and can't pass it up. Also in order to do that the dealer told me that I would need to register it in Florida and pay whatever the cost is for tags, fee's & taxes, then pay the same when I register it here in Virginia.
The few things that it doesn't have that I wanted were black wheels, comp seats & PDR. Easy enough to change the first two but I don't understand how the prior owner can spec such a nice car and not get that. Oh well, I've never had one so I guess I can't really miss what I haven't had.
Question about the X pipe. I've been doing a lot of reading and searching the post and trying to make sense of all of it but to simply things how many cats does the car have and what does the X pipe replace?
Thanks for the help and I am finally glad to be a part of the Corvette community!

You can easily make your wheels black and buy comp seats if you want to in the future. But as you mentioned the PDR can’t be added. But honestly I don’t think you’ll miss it at all! It’s a cool feature but I dont even use it as well as friends that have it either. We all thought we needed it and now never turn it on. If your a track Junkie then maybe it might worth it but besides that, don’t even sweat it! Enjoy your car with the X pipe!

Welcome to the Zeeee World
Congrats the extreme fun is about to begin! The stares and thumbs up will commence. The smile on your face will never be the same! I’ve had mine since 2016 and have modded it a bit for sound and power. You will be on this forum a lot to learn and buy! Lol

I bought my first Z a couple months ago and it has been incredible. Love the car. Same color scheme as yours.
I smile every time I open the garage door. You're gonna love it!

So has your Z06 been delivered yet? I paid for mine 2017 Z 11 days ago and still waiting for a ship date... having a difficult time waiting.

Hard to go wrong with white/tan (or is it Kalahari?)...I owned a vert '16 Z06 3LZ A8 with only 3K miles for about 6 or 7 months and really enjoyed her but I just couldn't get over the 911 TT I unloaded due to perceived health issues (that thankfully turned out to not be a big deal), so after hearing the siren call of the 911 TT I traded mine for my current P car, an '18 911 TTS. I did enjoy the Z06's rwd where it was easy to play with the traction loss whereas you have to go al the way to the mighty GT2 RS to get a RWD 911 Turbo car. Anyway enjoy and she is a beaut….p.s. if you turn both the nannies off the Z cars are really fun, just be quick with the counter steer
