Default Who has a C7 ZO6 with high miles?

Tell us your mileage and what kind of issues you have had. I just bought my car and it has 27,000 miles. I have been working on things like improving the appearance of the wheels but of course I have had no issues mechanically.

2017 with 72,082 miles on it. Other than routine maintenance and a couple recalls, I've replaced the marsh mellow wheels with forged ones. I also replaced the OEM rubber with Continentals for better wet weather handling and tread life. After the initial set of OEM tires wore out very early and uneven, I asked my dealer's tech to do a "street alignment". Perfect wear all around now and for me, first class handling. The Vette has never been tracked, but hardly a week goes by that I dont put in a day of traveling. Up at daylight, grab some breakfast and a tank of premium and drive all day, planing the day as I go. I beautiful machine meant to be enjoyed, and I plan on doing just that!

Have you done anything other than routine maintenance? Does it still run like new?

I do not think my car is high miles at all; I just wanted to give a point of reference, I suppose.

Same. 21,xxx on my 16 M7.

Very reliable car.

Zero issues. Even did the "big 3" mods. No CEL ever, never a stutter, never overheated, never made any strange noises, i picked the perfect z06. (KNOCK ON WOOD) haha.

I feel bad when i read threads of owners with the 2018 or 2019 Z's already with issues.

Air filter (or air intake), x-pipe and ported throttle body. All can be done successful and still net some gains without touching the stock tune.

You will run into these problems.
All are fairly inexpensive and expected except the last one.

1. Wiper blades. 2-4 years
2. Battery. 3- 5 years
3. Thermostat. 3-5 years.
4. Pulleys and pulley tensioners making noise. 4-5 years. 80k miles.
5. Key fob battery causing a service keyless entry message. 3-5 years.
6. Spark plugs beginning to get marginal after 70K miles or 5 years.
7. Brakes and tires of course.

8. Mag ride shock absorbers must be inspected periodically to monitor seeps/leaks.
They will need to be replaced at some point when to much fluid is lost. All weep some and that is considered normal.
However the weep goes from a weep to a seep to a leak over time. There will be no code. The ride will just get harsh as hell on that corner. The leak will be very noticeable if it gets to the point of compromising ride quality.

This list applies to C5, C6, and C7 Corvettes and most similarly equipped GM cars.

I own a 2015 Z07 M7 with 50.000 km and she's not a garage queen. I don't track the car but I can say I've driven her in every condition. I never had any kind of problem but since one year I can hear a weird noise coming from the clutch sometimes. Do you know how many km the clutch lasts?

22k Miles on my 16 M7 with 2 very minor issues. Had a slight humming noise on extreme turns that was dealt with under warranty. I forgot the fix but was a fairly inexpensive fix even if i had to pay for it. And my armrest "leather" got a little rumpled. Other than that no issues since i bought her.
