Very nice. I did the same thing (in Shark Gray) and liked it so much, I went back for a full stripe.

Wow wish I had the ***** to have mine painted. Looks AWESOME!!! Did you do it yourself everyone or did you have a professional do it? Does the whole hood have to come off and be repainted and clear coated. As you can see I don't know crap about it, But I'D Love to be able to trust someone someday with perfect match and results. My OCD always gets in the way and I'm afraid something isn't going to be perfect and regret it.

Love the paint but about a year ago I decide to fix what I thought was an oversight by Chevy and completed the stripe '67 Big Block-style. I spent about 10 minutes with 1/4" carbon flash tape and this is the result.

I had my stinger painted right after I took delivery of my Z06 in July 2018 before had the paint protection applied. I also ordered the dual roof option, so my painter also painted the side spears of the transparent top Arctic White and applied a tinted clear over the entire top to eliminate the paint lines and to also help cool the interior. Living in Florida, I only use my transparent top during the winter months when the sun isn't as high in the sky. He chose to remove my hood to better align it than how it came off the factory line.
As mentioned, I really liked my custom painted stinger stripe and received many compliments on it, so I went back in 6 months later and had him finish the stripe over the painted roof and rear hatch. To me, the Arctic White provided a nice canvas.

I had mine painted several years ago as I don't care for vinyl stickers. Maybe on a Cruz... My painter charged $500, about the same price as the ghetto vinyl sticker. I thought about having a pinstripe going around the edge but preferred the look without.

I had mine professionally painted by a trusted, local body-shop. The owner has worked on previous cars for me as well as other Corvettes friends of mine own. He's also painted custom paint jobs for local racing and show cars.
