Default 2019 Z06 infotainment screen not responding to touch

Tried to change the XM radio channel today and found the screen won't respond to touch. Not just the radio, either. Nothing on the screen responds to touch. Steering wheel controls work and the ***** and buttons work. Has anyone had this issue and know of a fix? Thanks!

So it's only happened once but my PDR wouldn't load when I hit the button. It wasn't until I shut the car down and restarted it that the PDR would come on line.

Thanks but I've tried that and it didn't help. Still unresponsive.

do a fuse pull and see if that does anything.

If not a trip back to the dealer will be in order.

Some of the earlier models had problems with the touch screen. Try the fuse pull as said above. If it doesn't work, take it to the dealer -- warranty

My screen went completely dark on my '16, but I could hear music on the radio. Took it to the dealer and if memory serves me correct, they downloaded something into the computer. It worked fine after that.

After pulling the fuse , touch screen worked. Went out for ride and now the steering wheel controls are not working. They worked when I was having the screen problems. Guess there's a fuse for that too. Looking at that today.

Stop messing with fuses, pull the battery cable for 10 mins, and let everything reboot.

Went for another ride today. All the controls worked. I didn't reset anything. That's what scares me about the electronic controls in these cars. Always said wouldn't want to own one out of warranty. Can't say that any more. I'm sure this isn't the last time I'll be dealing with this. Thanks all the responses.

the engineers did such a good job fixing existing problems they created new non explainable problems. Maybe it’s just a software brainfart the op had and he will have to live with it from time to time and it miraculously goes away and comes back

Here's an old issue that could be related: a simple cable connection issue:
