Matt,

I enjoy your videos (you and I display similar sarcastic responses) and applaud you on what you have accomplished with obsessed garage. Was hoping this thread would bring you out here.

I dropped off my new 19 Z06 for some ppf today and I just got done watching videos about how you dislike ppf. I do also. My therapy is to detail my "toy" car and the plastic all over it takes away from it. And of course I talked myself right into doing everything except roof hatch rr bumper.. I know it's mostly a waste too. But I get paranoid one particular panel will be the one that gets "attacked" lol.

Are you going to pull the rest of the ppf off the carbon 65? Or replace the areas they already removed?

Patiently waiting for some new Corvette content...

Thanks.

I'm going to do some heavier track time in my Z06, so I'm going to have the entire car wrapped. I talked to Billy at Presidential to see if he'd like to do another project with me. We will be correcting then doing full STEK Dynoshield and coating with Crystal Serum Ultra. Naturally, I'll be videoing the entire thing. I think we will be doing it next month.

Congrats on turning a hobby into both a job and a means of therapy. That's amazing. I'll have to see if I can work some of your content into my rotation.

Jeff it's really good.

I sat there and watched him go on and on while he washed his gt3 from beginning to end i swesr i could've watched another 30 minutes lol. Riveting. Like hanging out with one of my buddys without having to be over involved and entertain myself lol

I love when he complains, makes fun of himself and beats up on all kinds of things in a passive aggressive way.

Matt,

That's great.. can't wait to watch the new video. I will be doing a similar one of my Z06 when i get it back next week. I understand the therapy part. It's sort if like being honest with yourself and at the same time not being embarrassed or afraid to share those thoughts and feelings. Like a public speaking training but done without all that awkwardness lol.

It's so cool how small the world has become for me since starting all this stuff. Let's just hope I fall in love with the Z06 for my own personal safety. Ha, ha...

I think we're all a little strange, in our own ways. It's just part of being a car enthusiast.

Matt, Welcome, nice to see you over here. Talked to you a few times on the phone and glad to see OG doing well. There seems to be different facets of the car world and many times they don't cross. We each have our own set of criteria for what makes a vehicle desirable and many times what attracts us to one, pushes us away from others.
I've always been an american muscle guy, but watching your videos I see the appeal of Porsches, not a fan of them on track after testing one, but I could see a getting a GT3 down the road.

I love my current Corvette and the previous one with its "rubbermaid" dash, not to mention what the cars are like to drive, but I don't always care for all the groups, products, and baggage that the name invokes . That said, the same thing can be said for any group of owners whether they be a Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, and so on. Got to drive what drives you.
Keep doing you and keep up the good work.

I finally watched this. I can see why some people are, and will be, upset I'm looking forward to seeing what's next.
