Be careful on the drive. You will love it. Hard to keep your foot out of it the first 500; after that, it's music to your ears. Be sure to pull the NPP fuse - it's quite a bit louder WOT than the LT-1.
Enjoy !!

Congrats, you say that you will miss the GS, but you will never give it another thought. I came from a C7 Stingray to a C7 Z07 M7. The old car never even crosses my mind.

Congratulations for buying a spectacular car. Mine is similar; a white 2019 Z06 7-sp manual 2LZ. You'll love the Tremec TR-6070 manual trans with rev-matching, and you'll also enjoy not paying the gas guzzler tax for the automatic. The auto is a few ticks quicker, but nothing beats rowing through the gears old school. Enjoy.

Just came back ! Am I dreaming or the 2019 models are less noisy (road noise) than the 2017 ? driving the Z06 right after the GS on the same road and I feel I hear the radio much better, at a lower level ?
Also I had the suspension software update done last July on the GS and it felt smoother on tour, the Z06 is even better and both have the Z07 pkg,
also the suspension react lightning quick, the car feel like it regain composure faster while being smoother on irregularities, anybody who switch from a 2017 and down noticed that ?
Paint is also smoother, less orange peel, I am also happy downgrading from a 3LT to a 2LZ; the doors panels and the dash are a little cheaper but fit is as good, so no complain there.
Now at almost 400 miles done, I kept shifting every minutes or so to vary rpm, never once got into the boost side of the gauge although tempting LOL ! 100 miles to go

Im going in October
To the OP: re the road noise- it could be the difference between 2 year old run flat tires vs new. They get harder and louder with age.
