You're not nuts!! I ALWAYS drive with all of the nannies off (except anti lock brakes). In fact, I installed a circuit that automatically turns off traction control and stability control every time I start the car,..no need to push buttons (I always forgot to turn them off manually - so I let technology do it for me). I can still turn them back on if I feel I need to.

The new '19 Z took 5 weeks, 6 days to arrive from the day I ordered. That includes a bit of extra factory testing (a favor). I've heard some are delivered in as little as 4 weeks.

Car is nice stock but once you mod it and get up around 700 whp it’s a totally different car and much better IMO.

It will be comparable to your C6 just newer and more refined. My Z06 convertible is similar in feel to my 570rwph C5 but the C5 is definately more raw and powerful. The Z is stock though with a bit more weight to it. Overall, it's pretty much the convertible version of my C5.
