Z06 basic mods and basic cooling
My car is a 2016 A8 ZO6 my goals are basic mods.
Already purchased :
-ARH 2in ceramic coated catless X-pipe headers
-Tony Mamo ported throttle body
-AFE cold air induction
- LMR Billet 160 thermostat
These items^^^ have already been purchased, and not yet installed, and I'm still looking to get the DSX E85 flex fuel sensor, and eventually a tune with these mods ( I'm guessing 50% E85 and the local 91 octane).
The main question here are there any basic cooling mods that I could do without going too crazy? I do live in Albuquerque New Mexico and it gets hot in the summer.
Looking for some basic mods not trying to go to crazy trying to keep the temps down a little in the heat. I believe the car has plenty of power already, but I can't wait to hear the car with those headers.
Just a weekend car no tracking.
Any advice and recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

These guys are known for some of the best cooling mods in the market. Other performance shops even use their products for their customers cars.

Have a 2016 Z and live in south Texas; so plenty of 100+ degree days...never seen it run hot or really any temps above cooler temps...I’d skip the cooling mods and just enjoy it.
Putting in the 160 degree thermostat will likely lead to undertemps as reported by many here.

Cruised Fredericksburg three sisters in 100+ degree heat running hard for hours and never had an issue. I would suspect for road courses it could get the best of me and if I went hard towards that I would get the cooling mods. Till then I keep enjoying the Texas back roads.
