Default Time for mods on my 2019 ZO6

So after 4 months of ownership, finally going to start adding some mods for some more ponies. First up will be CAI and x pipe. Already decided on Borla catless. My debate is on a cai. Either go with AFE dry or GM CAI. My worry is triggering a CEL with these two mods since I know the 17+ have a sensitive ECU. I ran afe/Borla on my previous 17 Z51 and had zero issues. I don’t plan on doing a ported Tb any time soon. Will these two mods give me some decent gains without issues? Maybe running GM CAI rather than afe is safer? Anyone else running nearly same set up that can input there advice or experience. I don’t plan on modding my car heavy as she is already stupid fast to me

thanks in advance

Perhaps running the GM CAI is safer, less warranty hassle but I hear it doesn't do much. AFE and Halltech with the X-pipe is great, has great initial gains.. however will all of the gains be present after the ECU adjusts itself? If I had to choose, you can't go wrong with AFE/Halltech but I wouldn't waste my money on GM is it doesn't add anything.

Both those mods should not trigger any issues. Thats a very popular combo.

Contact us for pricing on both!

Save your money and just put in a BMS filter along with the Xpipe. The stock intake is good for over 600 RWHP. If you have a manual get a Mamo TB. You will be happy with the results.

I have a Halltech, X-pipe and PTB and only time I popped the P106 was at the Texas mile earlier this year. recorded it all then I took it to the dealer and they uploaded the "fixed" tune for it. Ran it at WGF and several other areas with no more issues.

I have a 2019 so that bug was fixed. Leaning towards AFe but I don’t want to re run a new coolant line. I’m sure I can work my way around it. I don’t really track or race the car. Just want a few more ponies under the hood. I don’t have any intentions of tunning the car because of warranty so maybe GM intake is the way to go?

Save your money and get a BMS.
