R888R's for C7 Z06?
I need to replace my tires, and I'm looking at the R888R's. I've read threads about issues with buying tires with different aspect ratios than stock. The R888R's are:
285/35ZR19
325/30ZR20
Stock sizes are:
285/30-19
335/25-20
I have no idea if it's this simple...but if both aspect ratios go up by 5, is it essentially the same as stock?

We’ve had guys talk about these, they don’t work in the rear. You need to go down to 19’s like the c6 z06 rear if you want to be cheap for the track or something fancy if you don’t.

I'm running Toyo R888R's.
I put a 19x12 repo Z06 wheel on the back so it "looks" like stock.
The sizes I'm running are very close to "rolling stock" height wise.
F: 295/30/19
R: 345/30/19

I am running these on my '16 Z06, with NO ISSUES !!!!!
Front 295x30x18
Rear 345x30x19
Note they are on 18x9.5 and 19x12 wheels
I've also got Rival S on 18x11 and 18x12.5 wheels
Front 315x30x18
Rear 335x30x18
And I've also got Continental ExtremeContactSport on my stock 19/20 wheels
Front 285x30x19
Rear 335x25x20
Notice my differences are all over the place... still NO ISSUES

I tried a few different sizes in the front on my 18/10 inch sig wheels, 305/35/18 rubbed, 295/30/18 did not "feel right". I then went with 275/35/18s, "JUST RIGHT" and felt good.... I run 345/30/19s in the rear, no rubbing
ing and the car handles great with this combo!

I only have the 18/18 on the car now (Autocross Racing on Saturday... good weather).
The 18/19 R888R set up is for track days (but not doing much until we can get the overheating issue solved at a reasonable cost).
The 19/20 Conti set up is for autocross racing on wet days.
Here's the 18/18 with the RivalS on it now on Signature SV502 wheels
Here's the 18/19 with the R888Rs (on C6 GrandSport repro wheels)
And here's the Contis on the OEM wheels

I'm also rolling on 325/30/20 r888r in the rear with no issues. I went with 295/30/19 up front r888r and no lights or funny noises. The car grips allot better now with these compared to my cup2s.

I’m going to make a thread later when I have more miles under different conditions and just generally more experience with the R888Rs. However, I have replaced the stock rear tires only on my z06 with 325/30/20 R888Rs and have had no issues. It seems there was a lot of talk and worry about traction control messing things up if the ratio between front and rear sizes weren’t kept very close or stock-like. I have had no issues with stabilitrac (?) or traction control on. Not sure if it’s called stabilitrac, but no issues with all the “nannies” on as people say.

They work. A member here uses them on his grand sport . Not as sticky as cup2s but priced much friendlier and more balanced

Thanks everyone for the help! I ended up just going with a set of F14’s 18x10 / 18x12 w/R888R’s. I’ll update this thread when they get here with my experience.

I'm running these sizes as well. Except for my MT drag radials 325-30-19, but they don't see many road miles. I used to use Nitto NT50R 345-30-19's drag radials. They don't hook as well as the MT's at the track, but they were a great dd tire. Even in the rain, as long as you keep approx. 32-34 psi in them. The MT's DON'T do rain, so I usually switch back after returning from the strip. I dd my car.

Can you go WOT from a dead stop and still hook?
Thanks, Bob

Otherwise no, but they do hook way better than the Cup2's.
They catch/hook much quicker than any of the other tires I have tried so far... (Pirelli's & Cup2's)

Use Rear Toyo 325/30/19 they are nearly same size as stock 335/25/20 tires. You will need Z06 replica 19x12 wheels for roughly $550. This allows you to easily swap back to stock rears and avoid buying 4 new matching wheels.
