Did the Z06 actually do 7:11 at the Ring?! - Sport Auto Article

Stumbled across this webpage from Sport Auto Germany which documents the highs and lows of the Z06 endeavors at the Ring. Quite dramatic to say the least.
I would highly recommend you read this webpage on Google Chrome and have the browser translate this webpage to English.
Towards the end of the webpage, you will see where they note Jim Mero actually did 7:11 at the Ring.
However, Sport Auto was only allowed to release 7:13.90?!

It says the 7:11 that Mero did was in a not standard development car.
They say the 7:14 is the fastest manual trans on the Nordschleife.

I could be wrong.
That's just the impression I got after they went into huge detail about selecting modes using the console mode selector and never once hinted or mentioned the slightest about how they should have selected 'race mode".
I think when they say "not a standard development car", they mean "it was a development car and not a standard production car", which is what the recorded times are supposed to be done in.
Again I could be wrong so not arguing at all. I lived in Germany for 3 years so I speak and read a little Dutch. Regardless the google translation is a little off.

I have 142 acres in 3 parcels now going to many multiple parcels and future roads to be. (one already sold 1 for 250k this week it closes) off HWY 101 going to housing development all ready working with the City. Because I'm in the urban growth. Even more power is going in.
They want it to go to houses. There is new Oregon State campus coming in the nest 3 years. with in 5 miles They need places to live. I'm all about getting some housing starts up!
So are my contractor and broker friends! People are also coming in from every where including California.
