Default New gauge pod, Yea or Nay?

Good or no?
I'm thinking the pod needs to be off to the left even more. No need to see that 3rd speedometer.

There are not enough gauges on the c7 Mickey Mouse dashboard?

My apologies for being negative but I dont this this mess of a design in the c7 dash needs even More gauges.

Your add on unit itself seems ok. But I am a nay.

At least this would match the carbon fiber trim.

Looks clunky there.
Maybe a corner dash pod..... but not in that area.

I'd say kudos to whoever came up with the mounting solution, but no, I wouldn't want the gauge there, sorry!

When in doubt, try the old A-pillar mount... here's part of the 3-gauge unit I put together for my 69 Camaro, I assume something similar should be around for out cars!

Not feeling it. The C7 design took a big step forward in modernizing the platform and many of the mods that looked good in previous generations, just doesn't fit the C7 IMO.

That looks totally out of place. The c7 gauge cluster looks perfect the way it is. Why cover it?

Haven't seen any of these for our cars yet.

Maybe if it was more to the left and only covered the analog MPH gauge. I never use that gauge and I think it's just there as a fail safe for the electronic MPH gauge. Having it right in the middle makes it really cluttered.

I think the car has enough gauges as-is, but maybe if I had to add some I'd probably go for the A-pillar or just mount them on the dash like this.

Yeah, after driving a bit with it there... it has to go somewhere else.
Its blocking too much of the center display.

I tried to get it made way over to the left to cover the analog speedometer but its just slightly to the left.
Back to the drawing board... I do like that I can display information that's not available on the OEM gauges and its easy to read at a glance though.

Default Redux...

Ok, I ditched the column pod and moved it directly in front of the redundant speedometer.
I like it much better here, easier to see everything at a glance and nothing important is blocked.

Nay. But the spot it is now is better than before. What do you need to have it display that the stock gauges do not?
