I seriously doubt any of them are maintaining inventory. It is all drop-shipped. To be honest, these were not selling anyway which is probably why they were discontinued and are now being clearances off so cheap.

To anyone that did there own install, do you recall how much room there was on the sections that runs over the rear axle? That section of pipe is long enough to install a resonator on but I'm concerned about the additional half inch on each side of the pipe hitting on the diff or lines.

I'd like to put a 6" long by 4" wide round resonator on that section but want to make sure there will be enough room before I order the resonators.

There is plenty of room above and past the axle towards rear, but it narrows a lot when it drops down towards the front and thats probably the most straight part if it to put a resonator on. On the left side of car is where I noticed most that I only have less than 1/2" clearance between the dif lines and pipe.

Did anyone else who bought this system get a call from PayPal? It seems like they're doing an investigation on this vendor. The representative I spoke to said he has spoken to a number of people who have bought this system and everyone seems satisfied, but asked if I thought it was a "too good to be true price?" Kind of odd, as I've NEVER had a call like that, and I buy a lot of things through eBay.

I sent a PM to the Magnaflow Rep who is on this forum, they confirmed to me as well as Victor Barron that the seller is in fact an authorized dealer. I think they needed to clear out a bunch of inventory and this dealer was picked to blow them out on Ebay.

I've had a number of Corvettes C3-C7. All had aftermarket exhausts, some headers. At first the loud sound of a new system is exhilarating. The noise and the sound of power is intoxicating. After a while, with long trips thrown in, it can become an annoyance. This coming from someone who runs open headers at the track every week. I have a feeling a number of these systems will be off the cars in a few months after the newness wears off.

Is it too loud for your neighbors or house or just in the cabin?

If it's just the cabin, just get some Blockit sound dampener.

Love the sound. It's perfect. I actually wish it was louder at lower rpms.

I absolutely love the sound. It's a different animal with the Magnaflows on.

So does it keep the NPP or not?
I really like the NPP and the ability to keep it low whenever needed.

In theory, yes. It does keep NPP functionality. But the volume change from On to Off is almost non-existent. Only the stock NPP setup has such a drastic volume change.

Mine will be delivered Monday. Plan on installing it myself. Is this doable by backing up onto drive up ramps?

It's gonna be close, mainly getting the stock mufflers out is where you need the most clearance.

Did mine yesterday with blocks under the tires. Just had to jack it up another few inches to pull the stock pipe out then let it back down on blocks. New system is 2 pieces so no issues with height going in.
